One August summer morning, San Juan Puerto Rico was perfect for these engagement photos. Hot but perfect! With the sun shining bright like a diamond, I started my day early with the couple.

I was so happy to meet Yoliluz & Luis in person that morning after communicating for a bit via phone only; their wedding is in April. They are the sweetest and easy-going couple. It was a pleasure to capture their love story with the historical backdrop of Puerto Rico, which was divine, fun and playful, and fit Yoliluz & Luis personality perfectly.

Because we started early Sunday morning, parking was quick and easy. We had the colorful streets of Old San Juan to ourselves that morning. We hiked up and climbed down the narrow blue cobblestone streets for roughly two in half hours. The bride to be was a champ, doing all the walking in stilettos in the paradise summer weather. We started in front of the pretty colorful buildings and ended at one of the historical forts called San Cristobal.
