The Ayala’s Baby Shower

Recently, I had a pleasure to witness the celebration of Veronica and Jerry’s Rainbow baby. It was a cold, windy day, but the Arlington Lakes Golf Club was a great host for the Ayala’s baby shower.

Baby Zachariah has since been born, and I can’t wait to meet him. Join me in congratulating the lovely couple!

The Ayala’s Maternity Session

Hello all, I have a fantastic maternity session to share with you! I know! The beginning of the year is always slower following the end of the wedding season. So after every New Year, I tend to focus on tackling business and other related tasks. I also use the time to photograph some documentary sessions.

My first session of this year was one of my favorites — an in-home maternity session. Say hello to my lovely friends, Veronica and Jerry, and their cute pup, Nena. The weather just outside was cloudy. However, their home was the perfect backdrop to capture the love for this little one.

Brunch Bridal Shower – Chicago Illuminating Company Vendor Teaser Part 1

My heart was full over this Bridal Brunch shoot in June, just so fortunate to be able to partner with such talented, inspired industry professionals!

Our vision was to bring to life a cheerful, yet elegant + romantic party at this stunning Chicago venue. This venue is perfect for weddings, bridal showers, and other social celebrations.

From the beautiful vintage beverage cart, stunning flowers, the tasty cake in a jar to the lovely + delicious naked cake, it was simply priceless. I cannot forget the lovely ladies that were our party guests, they were so fun! We truly hope you are inspired by this bridal shower.

This was such a fun way to spend a sunny Thursday and I want to sincerely thank all of those who participated.

Garfield Conservatory: Gorgeous blackberry and green wedding palette.

Looking for a gorgeous wedding color palette inspired by blackberries? This is simplicity bridal styling. I love everything weddings, including designing. See how blackberries and green prettiness inspired the aesthetic of this shoot. In awe of the stunning dress and accessories from Mignonette Bridal. Beautiful Florals by May Floral highlighted the soft lace dress. Also, Amanda Farmer created this lovely braid up-do and complimented it with a delicate bridal make-up. Our stunning couple, Sasha and Taylor, were just the perfect pair. And Garfield Conservatory was the perfect backdrop.

Volo Restaurant Wine Bar: Gina and Vince’s Intimate Wedding

A charming, fun and intimate wedding at probably one of Chicago’s cutest venue in the Roscoe Village neighborhood, Volo. This venue also became one my favorites this year, which I now plan to visit often. Not only is it the cutest venue with an awesome on staff coordinator but the food was great! Volo also has an outdoor see-through tent perfect for a sunny or rainy day. Gina and Vince celebrated their love with their closest family and friends. I met Gina and Vince a couple of years ago when photographing their family, they are just the cutest family full of love and laughter; their wedding simply radiated the same emotions (tons of love and laughter).   Thank you so much for letting me share in your day. I wanted to share a few of my favorites from the venue, just a little teaser.
